Our business philosophy is informed by a designated raw material policy. In this sense, wood fiber production, in particular, is a qualitatively excellent, ecologically expedient alternative to peat. It is fully sustainable, but above all, it guarantees good value and consistency. A thermal-mechanical processing process which we developed in-house, converts certified wood chips, sourced from timber in regional forests, into a structural fiber product. The fiber is nitrogen-stable and, due to its low weight, an optimal additive for substrates of all kinds. The wood fiber also promotes structural stability and ensures ventilation, drainage and root growth. The EMZ plants not only developed the in-house production processes for the production of wood fiber, but EMZ also created the precision process using a system we built. The entire material flow, from selection, delivery and classification of the wood chips, to manufacturing the fiber, as well as quality inspection (incl. stockpiling and delivery), is monitored.
